Men’s Olympic Football v Honduras

The Men’s Olympic Team lost their 2nd game against Honduras 3-2 last night NZ time. Despite dominating most of the game they conceding two late goals to the Central American side. 

Liberato Cacace scored one of the goals of the tournament to make it 1-0. Up 2-1 with 15 minutes to go some mistakes by the Kiwi defence saw Honduras claim the win on a night.

South Korea beat Romania 4-0, so all teams in the group are on 3 points. Lots to play for in the final game against Romania on Wednesday 28 July (8:30pm NZ).
