Algarve Cup 2020

Mon March 9th 2020

The Football Ferns have lost the Algarve Cup semi-final 3-0 on Sunday morning against Italy in Portugal. The Ferns had booked their spot in the semi-finals in dramatic fashion, drawing 1-1 with Belgium before triumphing 7-6 on penalties.

Their final match of the Algarve Cup, will be against Norway on Wednesday morning (NZT). They will fancy their chances of securing third place after beating the same side 1-0 last year.

Pip and Carly have been with the team throughout the tournament. We look forward to getting them both back to clinic soon. Good luck on Wednesday!
