Nau mai, haere mai

Tiaki ā-Whānau

E mōhio ana mātou he mahi ngātahi te whakaora me te oranga, ā, he wā anō e uru ai te whānau.

To Mātou Oati Tonu

E mōhio ana mātou, ko te ako mō te ahurea he haerenga, ehara i te wāhi mutunga.
Kei te rapu tonu mātou i ngā ara hei whakapai ake i tā mātou whakahonore i ngā mātāpono o Te Tiriti o Waitangi, ā, hei tautoko hoki i ngā hua hauora taurite mō te iwi Māori.

He aha te mea nui o te ao?
He tāngata, he tāngata, he tāngata.

Welcome

Whānau-Centred Care

We recognise that healing and wellbeing are often a collective process involving whānau. Our clinic aims to provide spaces that allow for whānau involvement — particularly for our older patients or those who feel more supported when accompanied by family. While some rooms are limited in size, we do our best to accommodate whānau whenever possible, and we continue to keep this in mind for future facility improvements.

Accessibility and Opening Hours

Our extended opening hours — early mornings and later evenings — are designed to help patients access care in a way that best fits their whānau and work commitments. We understand that flexibility supports the holistic well-being of our community.

Cultural Awareness and Partnership

We are actively building awareness and understanding of Māori cultural practices and beliefs among our team. We believe that recognising these values and supporting joint decision-making leads to stronger relationships, improved outcomes, and better recovery experiences. When patients feel their cultural practices are respected and included in their care, they are more likely to engage fully in their healing journey.

Our Ongoing Commitment

We acknowledge that cultural competence is a journey, not a destination. We are continuously seeking ways to improve how we honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and how we support equitable health outcomes for Māori.

What is the most important thing in the world?
It is people, it is people, it is people.
