Roland Jeffery graduated in 1994 from AUT, completed his Post Graduate Diploma (Manip) in 2001, Post Graduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture 2004 and his Master’s Degree in 2004. He has completed his level 1 & 2 certificates in Functional Movement Screening.
Roland has worked extensively in football since 2001 and is the current lead physiotherapist for NZ Football Senior Men’s Team (All Whites), since 2003. He works with Northern Rovers Premier Men’s team. He has worked with club and representative football as well as NZ U17, 20, 23 Men’s teams.
He has attended the Football World Cup in 2010, and looking forward to the 2026 edition. Roland was the lead physio for Football at the Olympic Games in 2012, 2020 and 2024. Roland specializes in football injuries and has a passion for treating back and neck pain. He works with clients at Roland Jeffery Physiotherapy and manages his team of 22 therapists.
