MHPrac (Honours), PGD(Musc), PGC(Acup)
Anna Barlow graduated in 2004 from AUT and completed her Post Graduate Diploma Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2006 and Western Acupuncture in 2007. Anna is a passionate and experienced physiotherapist with a strong interest in Pilates, wellness, and a holistic approach to treatment. With over a 20 years of clinical experience across New Zealand and the UK, she is dedicated to not only treating symptoms, but also addressing the underlying causes of injury and dysfunction.
Trained in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, and Dry Needling, Anna combines hands-on therapy with education and movement strategies to help her clients return to the activities they love — feeling strong, confident, and empowered.
A Polestar Trained Pilates practitioner, Anna has over 10 years’ experience teaching clinical Pilates and leads both individual and group sessions. She believes in the power of Pilates as a tool for rehabilitation, strength, and long-term well-being.
Anna also brings elite sporting experience to her practice, having worked with the New Zealand Football Ferns for several years — including as their lead physiotherapist at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Committed to continuous learning and professional development, Anna is actively involved in mentoring and supporting the growth of fellow clinicians.
