All Whites v Peru

Mon June 6th 2022

The All Whites have lost their friendly match ageist Peru 1-0 early this morning in Barcelona, Spain. An error from goalkeeper Oli Sail allowed Peru to score with just over 20 minutes to play.

Playing in front of fans for the first time since 2019, a strong 32,000 crowd enjoyed a tense encounter with the one goal separating the teams. Lots of positives to take away from the game.

Roland and the All Whites now travel to Doha, Qatar, where they face Oman behind closed doors on Thursday [Friday NZ time] ahead of their playoff against Costa Rica next Tuesday [Wednesday NZ time]. Credit Photosport NZ.
