The All Whites pushed world No.4 England all the way yesterday, going down 1-0 in Tampa, Florida in their final FIFA World Cup warm-up match 🇳🇿⚽
Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game in first-half stoppage time, with England eventually edging out the All Whites in hot, humid conditions at Raymond James Stadium.
Despite the result, New Zealand showed plenty of resilience defensively against one of the tournament favourites in what was the first meeting between the two nations since 1991.
Roland Jeffery and the All Whites staff now head to the team’s World Cup base in San Diego as preparations begin for their opening World Cup match against Iran in Los Angeles next week 💪🌎 Credit: Photosport
