It wasn’t the result the All Whites were hoping for, going down 5-1 to Belgium in their final FIFA World Cup group match.
Coming up against one of the tournament big guns was always going to be a huge challenge, and while the scoreline was tough, the team never stopped fighting and continued to represent New Zealand with pride on football’s biggest stage.
A massive congratulations to Roland Jeffery and the entire All Whites support staff, including Adam Crump and Joe O’Brien, who have all played their part behind the scenes throughout an incredible World Cup campaign. Making it to the world’s biggest football tournament is a remarkable achievement and one that all New Zealanders can be proud of.
Heads held high – the future of New Zealand football is bright. 🇳🇿⚽
