History was made by New Zealand!

Mon Dec. 3rd 2018

History was made by New Zealand yesterday by claiming the bronze medal at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup after defeating Canada 2-1 at the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo. The first New Zealand national team to claim a medal at any FIFA tournament.

Grace Wisnweksi double got New Zealand off to a incredible start to take a 2-0 lead. Canada came back with a stunning solo goal from Lara Kazandjian. The girls held on for a famous victory to secure the bronze medal. Congartulations to Janina and the girls! We look forward to having her back in the clinic next Monday.
