Football is Back!

Football season is in full swing now in May, with all grades from senior to the juniors competing now after a delayed start to the season. Roland Jeffery Physio will be working with the newly formed Northern Rovers Football Club (formally Glenfield Rovers and Forrest Hill-Milford, both clubs having amalgamated). Jason Rope and Ben Sims will be working with the men's senior team and Grace Mayer and Jade Henley-Smith with the senior women's team. Northern Rovers is a huge club, with a very strong junior and senior club - our therapists are involved in the academies for both girls and boys and senior club.

Hamish Donnison will be working with Eastern Suburbs FC and Jay Lee with Auckland United FC, while Aaron Stockwell and Matt Millar work with the Glenfield Rugby team, so it's very busy in the clinic with a lot a sports injuries mid-way through the season. Pip Greenwood and Carly Ellis will heading off to the Olympic Games with the Football Ferns and Roland Jeffery will be working with the mens team. Both teams will fly out in early July for acclimatisation and training in the heat in July/ August.
