The All Whites started their campaign to qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2022 beating Papua New Guinea 1-0 in a hard fought game in Doha Qatar early Saturday morning NZ time.

Ben Waine came off the bench to score late to secure the victory. A defensive minded Papua New Guinea provided little threat to the All Whites who looked composed and should be able to strengthen their team for the next game against Fiji on Tuesday morning NZT. Credit Photosport NZ.
